This significant step comes with the third generation of the founding family taking a role in the business, bringing a new vision and determination to modernise the company.

AURIMARMORE, Lda, known for its dedication to quality and excellence in natural-stone processing, is now embarking on a journey to transform and digitalise its production and business model.

The introduction of advanced technologies will allow us to optimise processes, improve the quality of products and services and offer innovative solutions to our customers, as well as increase production capacity and improve working conditions and quality of life for our people," says CEO António Luís Ferreira.

The modernisation project includes intelligent production-management systems, digitalisation of the process from on-site digital measurement with real-time communication to the back office for job preparation, automation of production lines integrated with the office, and agile customisation of products for each customer.

Despite new recruitment needs and the reinforcement of the team, this will be a gradual process so that all employees who have been with the company for several decades can adapt to the digitalised business model.

This move towards Industry 4.0 not only places AURIMARMORE at the forefront of technology in natural-stone processing, but also demonstrates a commitment to sustainability.
